- 6 medium potatoes, pared
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons onions, minced
- 1 cup fine breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup butter
Directions

1Boil potatoes and put through ricer.

2Let cool.

3Add eggs, spices and salt, beat well.

4Roll into balls the size of golf balls.

5Drop in boiling salted water to cover.

6Simmer 20 minutes.

7Lift out.

8Brown onion and bread crumbs in butter.

9Sprinkle crumb mixture over dumplings.
