  • 2 pounds potatoes sliced
  • 1 pound extra lean ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cup water
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Saute onion in margarine; add meat & fry until browned.

    Add potatoes, bay leaves, water, salt & pepper to taste.

    Do not stir.

    Cover & simmer about 20 minutes.
