Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. grated potatoes
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- salt and pepper (freshly ground) to taste
Directions

1Saute onions and garlic in butter until browned.

2Mix eggs with potatoes; sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to potatoes and eggs.

3Stir in the onions and the butter in which they were cooked.

4Blend well.

5Pour into a well-greased one-quart casserole dish and bake in a preheated 350° oven for about one hour.

6Edges of kugel should be brown and crisp.

7Makes 6 servings.

8Top with sour cream.
