- 8 c. mashed potatoes
- 1/2 c. cream
- 8 heaping Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Peel and boil potatoes in salted water. Drain and mash well. (I rice them.)

2Add cream, butter, salt and sugar.

3Let mixture get cold.

4Add 4 scant cups of flour.
-
5Knead mixture until smooth. Roll out thin and bake on lefse pan.

6Makes approximately 24 average lefses.
