Ingredients

  • 1 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1 c. water (that potatoes were cooked in)
  • 1/4 c. warm tap water
  • 1 1/2 pkg. yeast
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 to 6 c. flour (all-purpose)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, except eggs, well with 1 cup of the flour.

    Add the eggs, then add the rest of the flour.

    Put into a greased bowl and let rise to double size.

    Push down and refrigerate overnight.
