  • 4-5 Potatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 50 g Butter

Directions

    Peel and coarsely grate the potatoes

    Dry the potato strips by wrapping them in a clean towel and given it a good squeeze!

    Chop up the onion and garlic.

    Red onions look particularly great.

    Mix it all up

    Set the pan to medium/medium-low heat and melt the butter so it covers the whole pan

    Spread out the potato mix in a 2 cm layer.

    Mash it together a bit so it's tight.

    After 15 mins on one side, flip it over.

    You can use a plate like I did to cover and flip.

    It doesn't have to be from Ikea.

    Do another 15 mins on the other side.

    The potatoes should be crisp on the outside and soft on the inside!
