  • 6 lb. ground beef
  • 3 lb. ground pork
  • 28 potatoes
  • 6 onions
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1 1/2 lb. casing

Directions

    Run meat, potatoes and onions through grinder.

    Add seasoning and mix well with meat mixture.

    Rinse casings well and cut into 24 inch lengths for easy handling.

    Stuff with mixture, leaving 1-inch for expansion.

    Do not tie ends.

    Poke a few holes in each ring. Place in a large roaster and cover with water.

    Simmer uncovered 40 minutes.

    Serve.
