- 6 white baking potatoes
- 10 slices bacon
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese
- green onions, chopped
- sour cream
Directions

1Bake potatoes, slice in half lengthwise and scoop out most of the potato, leaving the skin and about 1/4-inch of potato.

2Drop potato halves into hot oil and fry until brown; then drain.

3Cook bacon until crispy and break into pieces.

4Top fried potato halves with cheese and bacon.

5Add chopped green onions, if desired. Place under broiler in oven until cheese melts.

6Serve with sour cream.
