  • 6 to 8 cooked potatoes, cubed
  • carrots
  • celery
  • onions
  • 4 to 8 strips bacon
  • 1/2 stick butter (optional)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. milk
  • 8 oz. sour cream with chives
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook together potatoes, carrots, celery and onion until tender.

    Save water.

    Cook 4 to 8 strips of bacon and crumble. Melt margarine; add soup, milk and sour cream.

    Add vegetables, bacon and as much reserved water as you like.

    Salt and pepper as desired.

    Simmer.
