- 6 potatoes, chopped
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 tsp. pepper
- 8 slices bacon, fried crisp
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Place first 6 ingredients in saucepan.

2Cover with water. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes.

3Fry bacon and drain.

4Make white sauce of cornstarch and milk.

5Add sauce to soup.

6Add crumbled bacon; heat thoroughly.

7Serve.
