- 6 to 10 medium to large potatoes
- basil to taste
- 1 medium onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- approximately 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 cans evaporated milk
Directions

1Peel and cube potatoes.

2Put in large pan (Dutch oven) with enough water just to cover.

3Cut up onion and add.

4Let cook until potatoes are soft.

5Add basil, salt and pepper while cooking. After potatoes have cooked almost all the way, add butter or margarine.
