Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 to 10 medium to large potatoes
  • basil to taste
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • approximately 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 cans evaporated milk

Directions

    Peel and cube potatoes.

    Put in large pan (Dutch oven) with enough water just to cover.

    Cut up onion and add.
  4. 4
    Let cook until potatoes are soft.
  5. 5
    Add basil, salt and pepper while cooking. After potatoes have cooked almost all the way, add butter or margarine.
