- 1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- salt to taste
- 5 c. chicken broth
- 5 medium potatoes, cubed
Directions

1Cook bacon until crisp.

2Remove bacon.

3Drain and crumble. Add onion to bacon drippings and cook until tender.

4Stir in flour.

5Add seasonings and broth.

6Bring to a boil and add potatoes.

7Cook until potatoes are tender.

8Remove bay leaf. Serve while hot.
