- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2 c. beef broth (bouillon cubes)
- 2 c. milk
- 4 c. diced cooked potatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb. bacon
Directions

1Melt margarine in pan.

2Saute onion in margarine.

3Blend in flour and beef broth.

4Stir vigorously with wire whisk.

5Cook and stir until thickened.

6Add milk and potatoes.

7Crumble fried bacon in soup.

8Let simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
