Potato Soup

- 5 to 6 potatoes
- onion
- celery
- garlic
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- parsley
- 4 to 5 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 c. Carnation cream
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Cut up potatoes; dice up onion, celery and garlic.

2Saute onion, celery and garlic in butter/margarine.

3Add potatoes and just enough water to cover potatoes.

4Add parsley, bay leaves and basil.

5Cook on low heat until potatoes are soft enough to mash. Remove from stove and cream potatoes; thin with Carnation cream and milk (add more if needed).

6Salt and pepper to taste.
