  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted and mixed with crushed corn flakes

Directions

    Defrost hash browns and combine in large bowl with 1/2 cup melted butter.

    Add salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese.

    Blend thoroughly.

    Pour into buttered 3-quart casserole. Mix remaining butter with corn flakes and sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
