- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. crushed corn flakes
- 1/4 c. butter, melted and mixed with crushed corn flakes
Directions

1Defrost hash browns and combine in large bowl with 1/2 cup melted butter.

2Add salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese.

3Blend thoroughly.

4Pour into buttered 3-quart casserole. Mix remaining butter with corn flakes and sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
