- 1 lb. real butter
- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. cake flour, sifted
- 8 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 10 tsp. half and half cream
Directions

1Beat egg whites stiff.

2Add 6 tablespoons sugar.

3Put in refrigerator.

4Cream sugar and butter together until well blended. Add egg yolks, 2 at a time.

5Alternate cream and flour and mix well until creamy.

6Add vanilla and fold in egg whites from refrigerator.

7Beat on high speed with mixer for 10 minutes.
