- 1 lb. butter or margarine, softened
- 6 eggs, room temperature
- 4 c. plain flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Directions

1Combine sugar and butter.

2Cream until light and fluffy.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.

5Stir in flavoring.

6Pour batter into well-greased 10-inch tube pan.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
