  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 6 eggs, divided use
  • 3 c. flour, divided use
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream together the powdered sugar and butter 5 minutes on medium speed. Add 2 eggs and 1 cup flour, beating 3 minutes. Add the lemon extract and vanilla, then 2 more eggs and 1 cup flour. Beat 3 minutes. Then add 2 more eggs with 1 cup flour. Beat 5 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325° for 60 to 65 minutes or until done.

    Cool 30 minutes in pan. Dust with powdered sugar while cake is warm.
