  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. canned cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Cream the butter well. Add sugar gradually and cream well. Add eggs (room temperature), one at a time. Add cream, then flour gradually. Add flavoring.

    Bake in tube pan at 300° for 30 minutes, then at 275° for 1 hour or until done.
