- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. plain flour (White Lily)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Directions

1Cream margarine, shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat until smooth.

2Add flour and milk alternately until mixed well.

3Add salt and vanilla and beat well.

4Add baking powder and beat well. Pour into greased and floured Bundt cake pan and bake at 300° for 1 hour, then bake at 350° for 15 more minutes.

5Do not open door while cake is cooking.

6Cool in pan for about 15 minutes before removing.
