- 2 sticks oleo or butter
- 2 scant c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 c. flour (plain)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream the oleo and sugar thoroughly. Add 1 whole egg at a time alternately with the flour. Beat 1 minute after adding each egg. Add vanilla and continue beating about 2 minutes.

2Pour into ungreased stem pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.

3I like to add 1 teaspoon almond flavoring.
