- 1 2/3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Let butter stand to room temperature.

2Beat butter until soft and add sugar.

3Add eggs alternately with portions of flour.

4Add vanilla and mix slightly.

5Place in an ungreased tube pan.

6Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
