  • 4 sticks butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream the butter and sugar together until very smooth. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat just until yellow is all through the mixture. Add flour, one cup at a time, beating only until mixed after each cup. Add vanilla. Stir until stirred in.

    Spoon into tube pan and cook at 300° for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
