  • 1 heaping Tbsp. Crisco
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. flour (half plain flour and half self-rising flour)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton whipping cream (may substitute one 8 oz. carton sour cream or 1/2 c. canned cream)

    Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and cream alternating until you use all. Add vanilla. Pour into large tube pan well-greased.
