  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. Swans Down cake flour
  • 1 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp. soda or baking powder (optional; makes cake higher)

Directions
