  • 3 sticks margarine or butter, softened
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. all purpose flour
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring

Directions

    Cream together margarine, or butter, and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well. Add flour and flavoring, mixing well. Pour into a greased tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour; test for doneness.

    Can put pats of butter or margarine on top after removing from the oven.
