- 1 c. butter
- 1 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
- grated rind of 1/2 lemon
- 2 c. bread flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 5 whole eggs
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.

3Fold in flour in four parts, being careful not to overbeat.

4Add flavorings, lemon juice and rind.

5Bake in a 10-inch tube pan or double recipe and divide into 3 loaf pans.

6Grease and flour pans.

7Bake at 350° for 60 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in middle of cake comes out clean.
