Directions

  1. 1
    For the brownies:
  2. 2
Mix and bake brownies according to the box directions (you'll typically need water, eggs, and oil, as directed in mix package). I normally use the 13x9 mix or use 2 boxes of the 8x8 size brownie mix. Set aside after baking and prepare your praline sauce.
  3. 3
    For the praline sauce:
  4. 4
Mix the butter, milk, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil for a few minutes. Be careful not to burn. Pour over the baked brownies.
  5. 5
    For the cookie dough layer:
  6. 6
I buy the regular size refrigerated break apart chocolate chip cookies in the yellow package. They are pre-indented to show where to cut. I go ahead and cut them smaller and randomly place the uncooked dough on top of the brownies now covered in praline sauce. They will spread as they cook.
  7. 7
Put your pan back in the oven at 350°F until the cookies are golden brown. Let cool and cut into small bites. Or keep warm and serve with a scoop of ice cream. Yummy!
