- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (3 1/4 oz.) pkg. Jell-O butterscotch pudding and pie filling
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 lightly baked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 2 large or 3 medium eggs, separated
Directions

1Combine butter and sugar in a saucepan.

2Cook and stir until sugar melts and mixture bubbles vigorously.

3Remove from heat; stir in nuts.

4Spread mixture over bottom of lightly baked (but not browned) pie shell.

5Bake in a hot 425° oven for 5 minutes or until bubbly.

6Remove from oven.
