- 4 medium yams
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, divided
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. melted oleo
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. melted oleo
- 1/2 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Cook yams in microwave or on stove until tender.

2Peel and mash in a large bowl.

3Beat in eggs, 1/4 cup of the brown sugar, 2 tablespoons oleo and salt.

4Spoon mixture into a 1-quart buttered casserole.

5Arrange pecan halves over top.

6Sprinkle with remaining brown sugar and drizzle the 1/4 cup melted oleo on top. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20 minutes.
