  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
  • 1 1/4 c. Carnation milk
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, Karo syrup and milk in heavy saucepan.

    Cook to boiling point, stirring constantly.

    Cook until soft ball forms in cold water.

    Remove from heat.

    Cool at room temperature until lukewarm, without stirring.

    Add vanilla and pecans.

    Stir until candy holds shape.

    Drop onto waxed paper to form patties.
