  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. canned cream
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 c. pecans

    Cook sugar, cream and salt to soft ball stage (236°), stirring to keep from burning.

    Add butter, pecans and vanilla.

    Beat until stiff.

    Drop on wax paper by spoonfuls.
