- pinch of salt
- 2 c. pecan halves

Directions

1Cook on high for 2 minutes, until sugar is dissolved.

2Stir using candy making temperature probe.

3Set on 4 and cook to soft ball (234° to 240°).

4Transfer to mixer bowl; add vanilla.

5Beat with dough hook until it snaps.

6If you do not have a dough hook, beat with a spoon until it snaps.

7Spoon on a buttered aluminum foil.
