- 1 c. lite brown sugar (not packed)
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 2 Tbsp. white Karo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. white sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/16 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. pecans
Directions

1In 2-quart pan (using a wooden spoon), mix sugar, milk, butter, Karo and salt.

2Cook to soft ball (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat.

3Add vanilla and nuts.

4Beat until thickens, about 1 minute.

5Drop by a tablespoon on buttered waxed paper. Yields 2 dozen.
