  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 3 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery ribs
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 14 1/2 ounces stewed tomatoes
  • 14 1/2 ounces corn
  • 14 1/2 ounces peas
  • 14 1/2 ounces green beans
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 cups water

Directions
