- 4 c. cubed bread
- 1 Tbsp. sage
- 1 Tbsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- butter
- 2 stalks celery
Directions

1Cover chicken with water.

2Add salt and celery stalks; cook until chicken is tender.

3Season bread with sage, thyme and pepper.

4Layer chicken, cut into small pieces, with the seasoned bread cubes in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole.

5Dot with butter; pour broth from chicken (strained and celery removed) over the casserole.

6Bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
