Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda baking
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. preserves
  • 2 or more flavors (you can combine)
  • 2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients. Set aside. Beat sugar and margarine until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Stir in flour alternately with buttermilk.

    Beat until smooth. Mix vanilla preserves and pecans together. Fold into batter until blended. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
