- 1 3/4 teaspoons baker's yeast
- 1 1/4 cups hot water from the tap
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- salt
- 4 cups flour
Directions

1In the bowl of the bread maker, add the hot water and yeast, and let it create a foam.

2Then add the milk, butter, sugar, salt and finally the flour, and select the kneading program (15 minutes).

3Let the dough rest.

4Remove, and on a floured work surface, knead a little longer to get a light, malleable dough that does not stick to the hands.

5Make a long roll as if making a baguette.

6Cut into equal squares, and let stand for 30 more minutes.

7Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

8Bring 2 liters of water to boil in a large pan.

9When boiling, gently dip the bread squares in water for 30 seconds, then remove them carefully.

10Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
