Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 2 c. boiling water

Directions

    Combine crushed pretzels with 3 tablespoons sugar and melted butter or margarine.

    Press in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

    Remove from oven and cool completely.

    Blend cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip together.

    Spread on top of crust.

    Combine water with Jell-O until dissolved.

    Add frozen strawberries and stir until almost set.

    Pour mixture over cream cheese and put in refrigerator until set.
