  • 2 c. crushed pretzels (not fine)
  • 3/4 c. butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 10 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 large pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 2 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Mix pretzels, butter and 3 tablespoons of sugar in 9 x 13-inch dish.

    Bake for 8 minutes at 400°. Remove and pat down; cool.

    Beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar; stir in Cool Whip and spread on crust.

    Dissolve jello in hot water; stir in frozen strawberries.

    Cool until partially set, then spoon over the cheese mixture and refrigerate overnight.
