Pretzel-Strawberry Dessert

  • 3/4 c. oleo, melted
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 3 c. crushed pretzels
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 pt. strawberries, crushed
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 large pkg. Cool Whip

Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients and press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°.

    Cool.

    Mix jello with boiling water; add cold water and berries and chill until partially set.

    Cream together cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip, then fold into jello mixture and pour over cooled pretzel crust.
