- 1 lb. cubed pork or veal
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- allspice
- red pepper
- 20 to 30 pearl onions
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- salt and pepper
- cinnamon
Directions

1Brown cubes in butter.

2Add garlic and pearl onions; brown again with meat for 5 to 8 minutes.

3Add peppers (red and black); paprika can be substituted if you don't want it spicy.

4Add allspice, cinnamon, salt and 4 cups of water.

5(All spices are by taste, vary amounts as needed.)

6Cook for 3 hours over medium-low heat until meat is very tender.
