  • 10 jalapenos
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 5 strips bacon cut in 1/2

    Slice jalapenos and clean out the seeds (wear gloves if your peppers are extra hot).

    In a medium sized bowl, mix together cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, sour cream. Stuff the cream cheese mixture into a sliced jalapeno. Wrap half a slice of bacon around the pepper.

    Lay the stuffed jalapenos in a 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours, or on low for 3-4. Once the bacon is cooked, they are ready to devour. Serve hot or at room temperature.

    OPTIONAL : Cook and crumble the bacon, set aside. Cut the tops off of the jalapenos, and scrape out the membrane and the seeds (do not cut in 1/2. In a bowl, mix together your stuffing mixture of cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, sour cream, and crumbled bacon. Fill the jalapeno cavities with the stuffing with a piping bag or a plastic bag with a hole cut in a corner. Put 1/3 cup of water at the bottom the slow cooker, and lay the stuffed jalapenos on top.
