- 4 to 5 lb. rib roast (bone in)
- rock salt
- Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Line large roasting pan with foil, extending foil about 12-inches on each end to fold over later.

2Pour 1-inch rock salt in bottom pan, covering entire bottom.

3Place roast in pan.

4Pour Worcestershire sauce over roast.

5Encase roast with rock salt so that entire roast is covered by 1-inch salt.

6Fold over foil to cover completely.

7Put in hot oven (500°) for 22 minutes per pound (4 pounds equals 88 minutes, medium-rare).

8Remove and scrape off all salt.

9Slice and broil (if desired) for 1 minute.
