  • 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 pkg. mincemeat

Directions

    Sift together the flour, salt and soda.

    Cream shortening until fluffy.

    Add eggs; beat until smooth.
  4. 4
    Add flour; mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 400° for about 12 minutes.

    Makes about 60 cookies.
