- 1 12 cups packed brown sugar (use splenda brown sugar)
- 12 cup applesauce
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3 whole eggs or 3 egg whites
- 1 cup flour
- 1 12 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 cups quick oats
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional) or 1 cup m&ms plain chocolate candy (optional)
- 34 cup raisins (optional)
- 34 cup chopped walnuts (optional) or 34 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Directions

1Cream together; brown sugar, applesauce, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla.

2Blend in flour and baking soda.

3Blend in oats.

4Add your choice of optional ingredients; nuts, chocolate, raisins, or all of the above.

5Mix well.

6Drop by Tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or til lightly browned.

8Let cool 2 or 3 minutes before removing from pan.
