• 3 eggs, beaten whole
• 1 c. vegetable oil
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 c. buttermilk (add 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda)
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. nutmeg
• 1 tsp. allspice
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 c. flour
• 1 c. prunes, cooked and cut
• 1 c. chopped nuts
• 1 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. buttermilk
• 1/2 tsp. soda
• 1 Tbsp. white syrup
• 3/4 stick butter
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
