  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. prunes, cut small
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. walnuts
  • dash of salt

    Blend sugar with Wesson oil.

    Add eggs.

    Sift flour with dry ingredients.

    Add alternately with milk.

    Add prunes, nuts and vanilla. Bake at 300° for 1 hour in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
