- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. chopped, cooked prunes
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. each: vanilla, soda, salt, nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together.

2Add Wesson oil, buttermilk and eggs.

3Mix well, then add prunes and nuts.

4Mix well.

5Pour in two 8-inch round pans or 1 long pan, 9 x 13-inches.

6Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
