- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. prunes (straight from pkg.)
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream together sugar, eggs and Wesson oil.

2Add soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt to flour.

3Cut prunes in small pieces.

4Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of flour mixture to coat prunes and nuts.

5Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk to the creamed mixture.

6After well mixed, fold in prunes and nuts.

7Pour into loaf pan approximately 8 x 5 x 3-inch.

8Bake at 325° for about 1 hour.
